Principal's Corner
Ponderings of the Principal
As we prepare for the ending of another school year, the response portion of today's Psalm seemed to stand out. "Keep me safe, O God; you are my hope." While we will soon be parting ways for the summer, I continue to pray that everyone stays safe and that each of us does hold God as our source of true hope.
Congratulations
Our eighth graders are nearing the finish line. Tomorrow they will be together for their 8th grade trip and next Wednesday we will be honoring them at the graduation mass, awards ceremony, and then the traditional 8th grade dance. We pray that as they move on to the next step on their life journey that God may keep them safe and that they may take the roots of their Catholic faith that have been nurtured here at St. Louis Catholic School and continue to find ways to make them grow. Best wishes and congratulations to our eighth graders: Aubrey Baker, Ava Becker, Owen Beckner, Elena Beiser, Damien Brelage, Grace Copley, Sam Dice, Charlie Gardner, Jeff Gerstbauer, Wilbur Giesting, Sam Greiwe, Caleb Harmeyer, Logan Harshbarger, Tripp Hertel, Andrew King, Jack Laloge, Sophia Leising, Kathryn Mack, Miguel Nunez-Camarena, Calvin Padgett, Lillian Scheibler, Alejandra Schutte, Maggie Tekulve, Anthony Walke, Ray Walke, Grant Wanstrath, Mary Kara Wanstrath, and Laney Wuestefeld.
Free Dress:
Just a reminder that we will not have our normal "Free Dress Friday" tomorrow as each day next week students have the opportunity for free dress if they follow the theme of the day.
May 20 - 23
Mismatch Monday - Wear colors that clash or designs that don't match
Teamwork Tuesday - Wear gear or hats of your favorite team
We Believe Wednesday - Wear your religious themed t-shirts, socks or SLS gear
Field Day Free Dress - Wear your shorts and t-shirts so you can enjoy field day activities. (Just remember we do have mass Thursday morning too.)
God bless,
Mrs. Mauer
