Blue River Valley Schools

Construction is officially underway at BRV, marking an exciting chapter in our district's growth. From updated facilities to new learning spaces, these improvements will enhance the experience for all students. Check out the progress in the pictures below!

Phase 1 of construction, which included the middle section of the building and two classrooms near the cafeteria that previously housed art and music, was completed in December. We are finalizing punch list items, which will be finished over Spring Break.

Phase 2 is well underway and is expected to be completed in April. This phase includes five classrooms in Pod C, four classrooms in Pod B, the Pod B restroom, and the Pod B workroom. It does not include the conference room, SRO office, or speech area.

Phase 3 will begin in April and includes two classrooms in both Pods A and B, the current preschool and pre-kindergarten rooms, three classrooms in Pod C, the Pod C workroom, and the Pod C restrooms. This phase will be completed over the summer.

The final phase of the elementary project will include the remaining classrooms, workroom, and restrooms in Pod A, with completion set for Fall 2025.

Construction on the district office and maintenance areas is moving forward. Once completed, the office will include four small offices, a reception area, restrooms, a small workroom, and a conference room. The maintenance area will feature dedicated space for deliveries and storage, improving operational efficiency.

We anticipate the district office space will be completed by the end of April.

It’s exciting to see this phase of the project take shape, and we truly appreciate the community’s continued support as we enhance our facilities for students, staff, and families.
