Friday, August 2nd, 2024
Dear KCSD96 Community,
Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! I hope this message finds you and your loved ones enjoying a restful and rejuvenating summer. As we prepare to embark on another exciting academic year, I want to extend my heartfelt greetings and express my gratitude for your continued support and partnership in our educational journey to support all students of Kildeer Countryside CCSD 96.
Our district is abuzz with anticipation as we prepare to welcome your children back to their classrooms. This year promises to be filled with new opportunities for learning, growth, and achievement. Our dedicated team has been working diligently over the summer to enhance our beautiful facilities, update our innovative technology, plan professional development for teachers and staff, and enrich the overall educational experience for students.
On behalf of the entire district and the KCSD96 Board of Education, we are so excited to see what is in store for the year ahead. We encourage parents and guardians to please read through this first edition of E-News of the 24-25 school year. Parents and guardians can expect to receive more targeted information relating to their child's school in Principal Blogs sent out each Friday. They do a fantastic job of communicating directly with their families about information that pertains to their specific school communities.
Parents and guardians can expect to receive emails with their child's teacher assignments and transportation information no later than August 10th, similar to previous school years. This timely update ensures families have all the necessary details to prepare for the upcoming school year, helping to streamline the transition and address any questions or concerns well in advance.
Here’s to a fantastic 2024-2025 school year!
Sincerely,
Katie Sheridan
Superintendent
Kildeer Countryside CCSD 96
