“Your child's report card can be accessed through the PowerSchool Parent Portal. If you receive this email, your account has been given access to the Parent Portal to view these report cards.

To access report cards:

1) Click here to log into PowerSchool.

Note: If you do not remember the username or password, please click the "forgot my username or password" option at the bottom of the screen. The email address on the account is the same email address as the address where you originally received this email.

2) Once logged in, select your child's name at the top and click the "Online Report Card" link on the left hand side.

We continue the tradition of gifting new students to our school a school shirt with a virtue/word on the back that their teacher chose as just one of their many God given gifts. We encourage our students to use their gifts to come together to spread kindness, joy, peace and love to the world. Our kids are now and will always be St.Pats kids!

We are continuing with the School Behaviour Matrix. This matrix was created by students and staff at the end of last school year on how to use our school spaces appropriately and continue to make our school an AMAZING place to learn and grow!

At St. Patrick School we love getting outside for recess ! We know that fresh air and active play throughout the day is so important for student learning. To ensure your child has a great recess please ensure that they come to school dressed for the weather so they can enjoy their time outside.

The office hours are: 8:00 - 3:30 during scheduled school days.

To report an Absence

1. Contact the office

2. Email stps@eics.ab.ca

3. On PowerSchool, Enter/Review Absences (in the top left-hand corner).

If calling during lunch time (12:00 - 12:30) please leave a message and Ms. Miller will return your call as soon as she can.

PARENT VOLUNTEERS

Parents wanting to volunteer at the school or for field trips need to have a Criminal Record Check, Child Intervention Check and sign a Volunteer Confidentiality Undertaking form.

Request forms for these can be picked up at the school office. If you are unsure if you have these documents already completed, you can call the office, and we can check. These checks can take a while to process so if you are wanting to volunteer, please get these done ASAP.

END OF DAY PHONE MESSAGES TO STUDENTS

If you have a message to pass onto your child for end of day arrangements, please call the school office no later than 3:10 pm. It is very difficult to track down a child once they have left the classroom at the end of the school day.

Our busing is through Battle River School Division. If you have busing questions or still need to register for busing call 780-672-6131.

****PLEASE STAY CLEAR FROM BUS LANES AT THE BEGINNING OF OUR DAY AND AT THE END OF OUR DAY*****

We do have our Gr. 4's provide crosswalk patrol in front of the school but this likely will NOT occur for a few weeks until they have been properly trained. Please be careful using the crosswalks as our front street (53 Ave) is very busy before and after school.
