I am looking for a little input from you. I have two questions in the form below that I'd love your feedback on. Please take a couple of minutes to respond to the very short survey below. It will help me determine what to include in my newsletters moving forward, as well as give me an idea on what types of collaboration interests you.
Thank you for your time!

Using Capstone Connect to Spark Writing Activities -- Shannon McClintock Miller
This weekend, I was scrolling through X looking for ideas and to see what is new in the field of education and librarianship. In my scrolling, I found this post by Shannon McClintock Miller who is the District Teacher Librarian at Van Meter School in Iowa. I thought this might be a great idea for us here as well.
In her blog post, she explains how this idea came about when a classroom teacher wanted to "create a place where her students could find several curated topics to write about throughout the month. We brainstormed how a choice board would be perfect for this idea" (Shannon McClintock Miller). Shannon curated resources from Capstone Connect and created a choice board using Google Slides. She shared the link to the slides with the teacher who then shared it to the students. This is similar to what I have done for different grade levels research topics and the Heritage Months.
If you would like me to create a choice board for your students to use for reading, writing, research or other ideas you have, please let me know. I am more than happy to curate and create a choice board for you and your students.

Creating Movable Digital Activities with Google Drawings + Slides -- by Matt Miller
Matt Miller is the creator of the website/blog called Ditch that Textbook. He has a plethora of digital tips and tricks for a variety of different things including Google related products. In the video below, Matt shows you how you can create an activity in Google Slides where students can move items around to answer or complete the activity. Many of us know that this is possible using Seesaw, but for those more interested in doing something like this in Google Slides and then uploading it to Google Classroom, this may be the ticket for you.
