SCHS Counseling Connections

Here you will find information on important upcoming events that you will need to know for this month. This is a great tool that provides our students and parents with valuable knowledge on a timely basis.

Each year we host a "Senior Parent Night" in which we provide Seniors & their parents with important information for what they should be doing Senior Year to prepare for the future.

It will be held in the auditorium here at SCHS on Wednesday, September 27th at 6:30 pm.

The deadline to register for the October 28th ACT is September 22nd.

College bound students are encouraged to take at least one ACT their junior year.

The below document is the Virtual Guidance office we have created. It is for students to check out some of the information we have in our office virtually. Once a month this school year, our teachers will be nominating students who they feel have done something to represent a quality of Pirate P.R.I.D.E. This means they demonstrate Perseverance, Respect, Integrity, Determination, or Equity. Our goal for this year is for this recognition to take place once a month as we eventually make it a more common occurrence.
