Hola Tigres!
Dear Georgia Brown Families,
As we approach our last week before Thanksgiving Break, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to all of you. Thank you for your trust in me to lead our school, for the unwavering support you provide to our students, school, and staff, and for entrusting your children to us day after day.
I am truly grateful to be part of this wonderful Tiger family.
Warm regards,
Cristina Velasco

5th and 6th Grade Families- Inclusive Excellence
Good Afternoon PRJUSD families,
On September 3rd, our Superintendent sent a message to all families in our district indicating our commitment to maintaining schools that are both safe and welcoming to all students by emphasizing our commitment to respectful language between and toward one another.
At school this week, we communicated our message to students by explaining the importance of respectful and kind language toward one another as well as our expectations on school campus. Both fifth and sixth graders had a class presentation reminding them of the importance of this message as well as their role as leaders and examples on campus for our younger students.
This message to our parents and guardians is intended to share our commitment to this work and bridge our efforts from school to home. We encourage all families to have a conversation with their students about the impact of our words, particularly name-calling toward our unique differences or cultures.
We thank you for your support and encourage you to reach out with any questions.
Sincerely,
Cristina Velasco
