September 18, 2024 - Welcome back to school: Setting up the Year for Success

October 23, 2024 - How to build stronger relationships AND boundaries with my teen and technology
-Guest Expert, Brenda Stephani of L'esprit and our very own expert, Sarah Dahl of Livingston Public Schools will have tools and trends that can help you build relationships and boundaries with your teen with technology.
November 20, 2024 - Talking with your Teen
-Our very own, Carolyn Dettori will help you build strategies and ideas of ways to get through to your teens and have meaningful and real conversations.
January 22, 2025 - Healthy Relationships
-Guest Experts from BridgerCare will be here to help you navigate supporting your teen through all types of relationships, from friendships to romances, and yes - even best ways to talk to them about sex - BridgerCare is our local leader in healthy relationships for young adults.
February 19, 2025 - How to help your Teen (and maybe yourself) through Depression and Mental Health Challenges
-Need help with Depression and Mental Health? Join us for tools and strategies on helping your teen through Mental Health Challenges.
March 26, 2025 - Substance Abuse and Teens
-Guest Expert, Justin Matthews of Southwest Chemical Dependency Prevention will be here to help you know how to look for the signs of your teens vaping, using drugs or alcohol, and how to help them through it. He will also have ways to help with prevention, if your teen isn't engaging in these risky behaviors.
April 23, 2025 - Understanding PACEs
-A lot of brain research has been done and greater understanding of how trauma impacts the brain development. PACEs (Positive and Adverse Childhood Experiences) can impact your child's development. Come learn more about the brain research and how you can help your teen and their brain development.
Where and What to Know
Teen Toolbox Events will now be hosted in the Cafeteria at Sleeping Giant Middle School from 6-8pm. Dinner is always provided, so come hungry.
