What's Up, Westy Academy!

We Did It!! We survived another year of CMAS testing! We want to appreciate all of our students who took the CMAS tests this week for their hard work. It was a long couple of weeks, and now students look forward to their reward, CMAS Cinema. Many students have bee earning "funny money" during CMAS testing weeks, in which they receive fake money for meeting expectations during the day, such as being on time to class. This week, the teachers will host a movie day, called "CMAS Cinema" where the students can "buy" a ticket to one of 4 movies showing, and purchase snacks at the CMAS Cinema concessions stand. Students really look forward to this day, and we are happy to provide such a cool and fun way of acknowledging their hard work.

Separately, we want to take a moment to encourage parents to attend the Open House our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is hosting on Tuesday! PTO would love to meet you, and hope to recruit parents who are interested in supporting events around the school. This is a huge opportunity to make a difference in the Westy Academy community, so we hope to see you there! Just swing by, grab a cookie, a flyer, and check out what the PTO is all about! Outside of next week, we only have ONE MONTH left of school! There is plenty of events on the horizon, and we hope to see many of our families over the next 4 weeks leading up to the end of the school year.
