IBES Weekly Update

I.B.E.S. Does Not Dismiss until 3:20 p.m. daily. Parent Pick up CANNOT BEGIN lining up in front of school until 2:45 p.m. Any parent pick arriving before this time will be asked to leave and come back at the appropriate time. This is to assure the safety of all students and faculty on our campus.

Once you enter through Driveway #1, pull up to Driveway #3 and STOP. DO NOT cross Driveway #3 until instructed to do so by a duty teacher. All parent pick-up vehicles should enter Driveway #1 only at 2:45 p.m. or later. Please DO NOT enter Driveway #3 before 8:15 a.m. and after 2:45 p.m. Therefore, the only window of time for parents to enter Driveway #3 is between 8:15 a.m. and 2:45 p.m. Driveway #2 is an EXIT ONLY for all and should never be used as an entrance. Please follow the instructions on each Driveway Sign. Please adhere to the stop signs unless directed otherwise by faculty/staff and do not block area where cars are crossing. Thanks for understanding and working together to make I.B.E.S. the best it can be!

Friday-PBIS Concession sold at recess. $1 out of uniform bottoms.

Each homeroom classroom has the word attendance hanging outside of their classroom. Each day that all students in the class are at school the entire day, the class is able to color one letter of the word attendance. Once all of the letters in the word attendance are colored, the class earns a reward that the class chooses from a list of options. If our school meets our 95% daily attendance goal every day in November, all students will earn a slice of pizza!

NEW CHALLENGE!!!!

We have had many of our classrooms complete their first ATTENDANCE poster and earn a reward. The classroom that has the most ATTENDANCE posters complete by December 18 wins a Pizza Party!

Reminder of our Discipline Procedures:

Each classroom implements their own discipline tracking/consequences. At any time, any faculty/staff may deem a misbehavior serious enough to be put on a School Minor Infraction Form or Refer straight to the office where a Major Office Referral will be issued. Classroom conduct marks start over weekly. School Minor Infraction Forms start over every 9 weeks. 3 School Minor Infractions in the same week results in a Major Office Referral. 5 School Minor Infractions within a 9 weeks result in a Major Office Referral. School Major Office Referrals start over every school year and are recorded in JCampus.

Our out of uniform dress days are on Wednesdays. Students can wear out of uniform dress for $2

($1 for shirt and $1 for short/pants). Friday, students can wear an IBES spirit shirt with uniform bottoms or with out of uniform bottom for $1.

Dress Code Reminders...tights are not allowed unless worn under a dress or skirt. Shorts CANNOT be shorter than the end of a student's fingertips when their arms are held down at their sides. These dress code requirements are followed for off-campus school functions also.

• Office Reminder...the office opens at 7:30 am. Student take in begins at 7:45. Our instructional day begins at 8:10. Please have your student arrive at school on time each day. No check-outs after 2:45 p.m.
