Thank you so much for your incredible generosity during our Holiday pyjama drive. With your support, we were able to collect an amazing 251 pairs of pyjamas!! These cozy gifts will be delivered to a school in London, spreading holiday cheer and kindness to children who will truly appreciate the warmth of your thoughtfulness. Thank you to Gabby, Carly, Keenan and Declan for organizing the event, counting pyjamas, keeping a tally and for making such enthusiastic announcements each day! A big thank you to everyone for helping us make a meaningful difference this holiday season!

Byron Pizza heard about our pyjama drive and wanted to get in on the spirit of Holiday giving as well! They will be graciously donating the pizza for the winning classes to have their pizza party on Monday afternoon. Thank you Byron Pizza! Be sure to give a shout out to them the next time you visit!

Just a quick reminder, Rheo Thompson Chocolate Mint Smoothies are on sale until Monday, December 16, 2024. They are $3.00 each, they can be purchased using School Cash Online, and purchasing them helps offset the printing costs for the yearbook. These delicious treats make great stocking stuffers or plate decorations for your family holiday feast. The Mint Smoothies will be delivered to the oldest child in your family towards the end of the school day on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, and this child will bring them home. Thank you for your support, and The Current would like to wish a happy holiday to all JD community members.

Rheo chocolates will also be available at school next Thursday for students who would like to bring cash in to purchase.

Thank you to everyone who was able to join us for our Holiday Concert! We are incredibly proud of our students and their performances. They did an amazing job! Their hard work and talent made the event so enjoyable! A big shout out as well to the incredible dedication and hard work of our staff who made it all possible. What a fantastic night!

Thank you to everyone who attended our Kindergarten Holiday Concert. The students were fantastic and their performances were heartwarming and joyful! A special highlight was the grand finale when the adults joined our students for a fun and festive dance. A heartfelt thank you goes out to our amazing Kindergarten educators for their hard work and preparation!

Exiting news! Our spirit wear has arrived just in time for the holidays! If you placed an order, and it is a gift, please email d.woods@tvdsb.ca to let me know that the item should not go home with your child and to let me know that you will be in sometime next week to pick up your order. If I don't hear from you, we will be sending home all spirit wear with the students next Wednesday.

A big shout out to Stephanie Yost for organizing this entire initiative! Your hard work and dedication has made it all possible. We can't wait to see everyone showing off the school spirit soon!
