Chancellor Elementary Spark Park
Alief ISD
What is a Spark Park?
Our school has been selected to receive a Spark Park! Schools are chosen based on certain criteria including population, income status, and the “ten-minute walk” rule (if the community does not have a park within a half mile walk.) The park will be open to the community after school hours and will include new playground equipment, a walking trail, new trees, benches, etc.
We want our play area to be inclusive to all students. Our school serves over 100 students with disabilities.
Donors Needed
This is where you come in. If you are interested in donating or work for a company looking to support a community project, please consider us. As part of the Spark Park program and procedures, we are seeking monetary donations from companies and any other community stakeholders. This is considered a 501C3. Spark Park donates money from their organization and our students and parents will be participating in fundraising at the school level.
There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony with state and local officials. All donors will be invited to attend. Our hope is to complete the park by May 2025.
We have a QR code which directly donates into Chancellor's Spark Park fund. This fund was set up by our school district. You can also click on the link below to donate.
