Leadership Message
Tuesday Lunches - Go Garbageless!
We continue to be excited about our whole school Tuesday Picnic Lunch Day!
In an effort to minimize the garbage outside, we could use your help.
We remind students throw their garbage in the garbage cans to preserve God's natural world. Your help would be great to:
- Remind children to throw their garbage in the garbage can
- Help build lunches that are garbage-less
- Use reusable containers whenever possible.
Thank you in advance for your help and support!
You Make a Difference @ STL!
Thank you to all of our volunteers who make a profound difference at St. Luke! We had the honour and priveledge of celebrating you on Friday, with each grade playing a part in the celebration! From our PreKs to Grade 4s and their beautiful performances, to our Grade 5&6 who baked muffins and performed raps, reader's theatre, songs and solos! Thank you to our Grade 7&8s who helped with set up and clean up. Every student and staff wanted to express their gratitude for all that you do at St. Luke!
A special thank you to South Cooking Lake Greenhouses for helping to provide the beautiful plants that were gifted to each volunteer! They are absolutely gorgeous!
Thank you Coulombe Family & Hastings Lake Gardens & Events!
You will notice beautiful colour and scents at the front doors of St. Luke! Thank you to the Coulombe Family and the Hastings Lake Gardens & Events, they provided the beautiful flowers that welcome student, staff, parents and guests to St. Luke!
Thank you for beatifying our precious St. Luke Catholic School!
Go Oilers Go!
We've had great fun at St. Luke cheering on the Oilers...
Mr. Mak and one of our Grade 6 students had a friendly wager... "Which team would go further in the playoffs the Edmonton Oilers or the Toronto Maple Leafs?" Whomever lost, had get their face painted in the colour of the winner's team....
I guess we know who won!
Thank you choir!
A special thank you to Mrs. Marple and our St. Luke Choir for your Music Ministry during our Adoration Mass in the gym on Thursday. When we sing, we pray twice, and you helped to make the mass meaningful and beautiful! Thank you!
Thank you for choosing St. Luke Catholic School and Catholic Education!
With abundant gratitude,
Mme Gravelle
