News from the Principal
Dear Jefferson Families,
Testing is finally over, and the teachers are hard at work developing intervention groups and lesson plans to help elevate your students to the next level. We are incredibly proud of the dedication and effort the students put into their work. They took their time, applied effective strategies, and we saw significant growth as a result. Many parents have asked, "What can I do to help at home?" One of the most impactful ways to support your child's progress is by fostering a love of reading. Reading a wide variety of books at home not only enhances comprehension skills but also builds reading stamina. When students read regularly, they become more confident in their abilities, deepen their understanding of different concepts, and improve their critical thinking. Encouraging a positive and engaging reading routine at home can make all the difference in reinforcing what they’ve learned in the classroom and setting them up for continued success.
Warmly,
Maria Guerra
Principal, Jefferson Elementary
