PACK Guardians,

It is MAY in a Middle School, God bless our teachers! As a reminder, the rules from the beginning of school still apply. This means dress code, tardies (start time is 8:20a.m.), and grades are still being taken. Please assist us in holding your students accountable to coming to school and still giving their all. We will be making contact with some guardians about summer school soon. Please read the bullet points below:

Online Registration - Will your child attend Tyler ISD next year? If that answer is yes, YOU MUST REGISTER THEM ONLINE! It does not carry over from year to year. You can follow these online registration steps to make sure your child is accounted for next year.

Student Behaviors - Did you read the paragraph above? Student referrals resulting in ISS/OSS will prevent students from attending our fun end of the year activities including (but not limited to) 8th grade recognition ceremony, field days, and celebration week activities.

Tennis - Is your child interested in Tennis? If so, you need to attend the Tennis informational meeting at the Tyler Legacy cafeteria on May 7th. Due to the conflict with the new building ribbon cutting, Coach Sizemore will start at 5:30pm for the Hubbard Huskies!

Thursday, March 9th - iReady End-of-Year RLA diagnostic test = closed campus

Friday, March 10th - Beginning Choir at the Rose City Music Festival and Kendra Scott giveback night for Cheer from 5-7pm

Saturday, March 11th - Tennis tournament at Legacy - 8:30a.m.

Tuesday, May 14th - iReady end-of-year diagnostic exam for Math (closed campus) and NJHS induction ceremony at 6pm in the front gym.

Wednesday, May 15th - Orchestra concert in the Hubbard Cafeteria 5:30-6:30pm

Friday, May 16th - 6th grade track meet at Legacy 9-12:30 and Orchestra/Choir field trip to 6 flags

AVID field trip to Baylor

This past week our AVID students got to go on an awesome tour of Baylor University. The students loved seeing the stadium and eating at the cafeteria.

Arts Fest

April teacher of the month - Tina Lawson

Mrs. Lawson is our wonderful Functional Life Skills teacher and master Chef of the "Tin Can Cafe." She is a wonderful teacher and well deserving of recognition!
