Principal's Corner
Hello Natoma Station Families,
Back to School Attendance Challenge
Our overall average daily attendance for this week was 96.70%! In grades TK-2nd, we had a tie with 2 classes having 100% attendance for this week! Congratulations to Ms. McClure's first grade class and Mrs. Tucker and Mrs. Bruce's Kindergarten class for achieving 100% attendance this week. Our intermediate class with the highest attendance rate was Ms. Porter and Mrs. Morales's class with 99% average attendance for the week. Thank you for ensuring that our Cheetahs come to school ready to learn new things every day!
Picture Day
Wednesday, September 11 is SCHOOL PICTURE DAY! An order form came home last week in your child's Friday folder. You can pre-order pictures online or send a payment to school with your child on Thursday.

Cheetah Chase T-Shirt Design Contest
Thank you to all the students who submitted an entry for our t-shirt design contest. We had more entries this year than ever before! The winning t-shirt will be revealed on the morning of the Cheetah Chase.
Cheetah Chase Online Registration Due
Please remember to register your student(s) for our annual Cheetah Chase. We currently have 66% of our students registered and are almost halfway to our goal!
Cheetah Chase is less than a month away, and today is the last day for early registration. Your student will receive a FREE T-SHIRT just for registering as well as an early registration prize.
Cheetah Chase is the only time during the year the students will be asked to fundraise. The Cheetah Chase funds classroom supplies, PE/Recess equipment, school assemblies, books, Cultural Night, Fall Festival, Stem Night, Donuts with Grownups, and much more! It is pivotal to meet our goal to keep these programs funded. We can't do it without the help of our wonderful community!
Student Pick-Up and Drop-Off
First, I want to give a big shout-out to our safety team volunteers for helping our students get to and from school safely. Ashcat Way is very congested with traffic at student drop-off and pick- up times. If possible, we recommend that you use Natoma Station Drive near the gate adjacent to the blacktop/field since this area is much less congested. We implore you to please drive slowly, safely, and follow all traffic laws. Please use the Hug N'Go Lane and ensure that your child is quickly and safely exiting and entering your vehicle. If you are parked on the other side of the street, please walk with your child across Ashcat Way. We also ask that you please not block our neighbors' driveways or the cul-de-sac. Thank you!
Thank you for your support and partnership!
