Home Athletic Events Guidelines
The following guidelines will apply to all home athletic events, beginning this week:
1. All middle and elementary school students are required to be accompanied by an adult 21 years of age or older and must remain with the supervising adult throughout the entirety of the game. Supervising adults of middle and/or elementary age students who are continually found to be outside the bleachers without supervision, may be asked to leave the game with no refunds being issued. Middle school students who have practice after school and wish to attend an athletic event after practice MUST still be accompanied by an adult.
2. All students MUST go home first and return back for athletic events. Students are not allowed under any circumstances to stay after school to wait for an athletic event to start. The only exceptions to this rule apply to students who have after school practices and are supervised by their coach/advisor until gates open, or students who are assisting as team managers and are supervised by the coaching staff. Students in violation of this rule may face disciplinary action.

Academic Support
The following academic supports are available to your child:
After School Tutoring
We will be starting after school tutoring beginning Monday, August 12th. After school tutoring runs from 3:15- 5:00 PM, Monday-Thursday. There is no bus transportation for after school tutoring. After school tutoring provides additional academic support for students (grades 6-12) who are struggling in core content areas (math, English, social studies, science). To sign up for after school tutoring, please email Mr. Shepler directly at mshepler@acpsd.net.
Summative Retake Tickets
For summative assessments (unit tests/projects) students who are not happy with their grade may receive an opportunity for reassessment by completing a "Retake Ticket".
Retake Tickets must be submitted within two weeks of receiving the grade on the original assessment.
Requirements of the "Retake Ticket" must be completed. Teacher discretion may be used for these requirements.
The score on the retake assessment is the final grade received.
Trojan Time
High School- Students receive an additional 20 minutes of class time on the following rotating schedule:
Monday- 1st Block
Tuesday- 2nd Block
Wednesday- 3rd Block
Thursday- 4th Block
Friday- Rotates Weekly
During Trojan Time, students should be using PowerSchool to check their grades, communicate with their Trojan Time teachers about their progress, and use this time to complete work.
Middle School- Students receive an additional 35 minutes of class time for support in math and ELA. Additionally, Trojan Time at the middle school level incorporates goal setting, character education, and club days.
Student ID Requirement
