AES APRIL PRINCIPAL'S CORNER
What's Really Happening At AES?
Hello AES Parents and Guardians
The year is almost over and we have about finished our ACAP testing. Your students are doing a fantastic job. The encouragement that the younger grades have given to our older students is inspiring. ACAP testing is truly a school wide effort and I know that it will show up in our test scores. May is going to be an extremely busy month and before you know it summer will be here. We haven't stopped teaching yet so please continue to support our efforts at home and remember to read, read, read every night. Thank you for all that you do to support us.

DRESS CODE
DRESS CODE
As warmer weather begins, we have seen a rise in dress code violations at the school. Student's should wear shorts that are the appropriate length. Also we have had students wearing shirts that show there stomach. If your child cannot raise their arms when wearing a shirt and not see their stomach then it may be too short. Our students are very active at PE and recess and we don't want anything exposed that is not appropriate. If student's wear something that shows their stomach then they will be required to put something over it or may be sent home if something cannot be found to cover the violation. Thank you for your support on this matter.

Our Student's Have Done An Awesome Job Encouraging One Another For ACAP!
As the principal, I get to witness the daily educational activities that take place. However, we also try to build up strong character in our students. It does my heart good to see students from Kindergarten through 4th grade encouraging each other to be successful.
