A note from the Administrators:

Dear Parents & Guardians,

CES had a successful first semester of school. Thank you for partnering with us to ensure that your child had good attendance during the fall. Studies have shown that children that attend school regularly have great academic success. In fact, missing just 2 days a month can negatively impact academic performance. We appreciate your help in scheduling doctor's appointment and check-ups during breaks or at the very end of the day to allow them to attend as much of the school day as possible. Report cards were mailed home on January 9th, so please look for those in your mailboxes. If you don't receive it in the mail, please call the school office so that we can send it in your child's folder. We are looking forward to a positive and rewarding spring semester filled with lots of opportunities to help our students meet their growth goals. Please reach out if we can help in any way!

CES Gift of Hope

CES Gifts of Hope was organized this year by our campus counselor, Mrs. Kasi Trent-Ashley. Through generous donations and support from our community, this program was able to provide Christmas to 23 students. We would like to say thank you to the community members who made donations and those who sponsored (shopped for) a child.

This is the first year for this program and we are SO overwhelmed and excited by the results!

CES Golden Rider Bucks

During the final week of school this semester, CES Administrators were looking for exceptional behaviors from our students. When students were caught going the extra mile with behavior, they were awarded with a Golden Rider Buck. Students were able to cash-in for an immediate prize before leaving school for the day. This was a great incentive for promoting positive behaviors and provided recognition for students that were acting as model citizens around campus. We look forward to starting our regular Rider Buck program with all students in the spring semester. Congratulations to all students that earned this special recognition this week!
