Thank you everyone for a busy, full, growing year!! I look forward already to next year and the short 3 months until we will see each other again!! Thank you for your kindness and supports!! The fritter Friday's and special treats! Thank you for the encouragements, and feedback as well. I have said it before and I'll say it again... you all ROCK! The real reality is that every school or business has toxicity. But to what level creates a healthy environment...Toxicity is in the eyes of the beholder, if you want to see toxicity you'll see it, if you want to believe in the good and strong things we are doing, you'll see it.... What view do you have? I'm not going to pretend that there isn't toxicity, but we are all in control of ourselves, I choose to believe in the good, I choose to see the good, because it far outweighs any negative or charged emotions. I can shout off a list, a mile long, of all the good things we did, I saw you do, and how the students did. This list is ten times longer than any list of contentions or frustrations. From painting last summer, to building this school year, to data digs, and raw emotions with changing grade levels, collaborations, RTI's, interventions, meeting specific students needs, master schedules, changing classrooms, and so on.... I have loved working alongside all of you!! I can see bigger things coming our way for next year, and this makes me very excited and lifted up for you!! We got this!! Kuddos to you for seeing your students growth!! Working hard for those moments with each kid!! That's what it's all about. Now go and have a great summer break! See you in a short 3 months. :))

May 29th at 2:15 All Staff Luncheon in the library. Sending off our retiree's and friends who are leaving.

May 29th- Whole school pizza party 1:15 outside on north lawn.

May 29th- 5th grade graduation 5-6 p.m.

May 30th Awards assembly 9:00-10:00 ish, Field Day after lunch till the end of the day. (see reflection email from last week with more info)

May 31st - School soccer game Time: 9:00- minimum day for students. Full contract day for staff.

Business Items

** Minimum Day on Friday for all students and staff. 12:30. Contracted staff can work a little extra each day to make up for the time off on Friday if you choose to. Certificated staff, once your teacher sign out sheet is done (google form) and to Corynn- you are good to go after the kids leave. :))))


** Our fundraiser final total was approx. $3000. This is just $3000 shy of our need for next school year. We will be working together as a fundraiser committee to determine how this is budgeted out. There may need to be some things cut out, to cover other things that are needed. Please work with local businesses, grants, and supports to help with funding. Thank you and a big shout out to a family in Mrs. Archibald's class, they donated $800 to our school this last week!!

**Thank you to the Ladies Auxiliary for their donation this last week too!!


** LIM we do have the funding from one source, our Title 1 funds to cover the renewal fee, we will need supports to cover the other costs associated with the things we do to support the students with LIM, binders, page protectors, cougar activities, whole school pizza party for reading, clubs, leadership roles, Student council leaders (50 of them), etc. If you know of businesses or community outreach that could help with this purpose, please help our students and school.
