This form helps with more than just meals. Qualification provides:

Reduced fees for the Deer Creek Device Protection Plan

Media Center News

Chromebooks

Students received their DCHS-issued Chromebooks this week. Please inspect your student's Chromebook this weekend. Students should report any damage or functionality issues with their Chromebooks to the library by Wednesday, August 21.

After that date, any problems with the Chromebook become the student's responsibility. As a reminder, the device protection plan is available on My School Bucks. The plan covers 100% of the first instance of damage and 50% of the second instance.

Student IDs

Student IDs were distributed, and if your student did not receive theirs, they need to stop by the Media Center to see Mrs. Dunn.

Student IDs and school-issued lanyards should be worn at all times on campus. These will also allow students to gain access to buildings. Starting next week, we will have follow up conversations with those that are not wearing their student IDs.

Thank you to the students who wore their badges this week!

Student Fee

Beginning in the 2024-2025 school year, we are implementing an annual student fee of $15 to help support new initiatives to make our school safer. This $15 fee will also cover the cost of your student’s first ID Badge each year. Student fees can be paid through My School Bucks invoices.

DCHS Announcements

UCO Concurrent Classes start August 19!

If your student is taking an on-campus UCO class, their schedule will show their concurrent class teacher as Mon Teacher Concurrent or Tues Teacher Concurrent. A Mon class meets on Monday/Wednesday and a Tues class meets on Tuesday/Thursday.

Class times are below:

1st/2nd hour course - 8:45 - 10:00
3rd/4th hour course - 10:05 - 11:20
5th/6th hour course - 12:30 - 1:45
6th/7th hour course - 1:25 - 2:40

Tennis Tryouts

Tennis Tryouts will be held on Tuesday, August 20th and Wednesday, August 21st from 3:20 to 4:15 at the DCHS tennis courts. Email questions to jenniferturner@dcsok.org.

eSports Information

There will be a mandatory parent meeting for the eSports team Tuesday, August 20th at 6pm in the Intermediate School Room C-7 and C-8. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Beeby or Ms. Smith.
