PAR-TEE this Wednesday during Lunch!
On Wednesday during all lunch periods, there will be two putting greens outside the Student Activities Office (mezzanine). Stop by to put your golf skills to the test. If you get a hole in one on either putting green, you will win a prize! Come by yourself or bring your friends for a friendly competition.
In September, We Wear Yellow Ribbons!
In honor of Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month, Fighting 4 Females, will be selling gold ribbon pins for $1.00. All proceeds will go to Cal's Angels Pediatric Cancer Foundation in honor of Stephen Foltin, Ms. Black-Foltin's son who is battling Ewing's Sarcoma.
From September 23rd to September 30th, find a Fighting 4 Females club member to make your purchase and/or give a donation. Thank you for your support!
Last Call for Voting!
Do you see the mascot name YOU suggested? Leyden's 100th Committee members selected 6 names to move forward to the voting step. Click HERE to vote on the name YOU like the best. Voting will close at 3pm on Wednesday, September 18th.
Kona Ice is Coming to Leyden!
Need a refreshing treat after you eat lunch?!
On Friday, September 27th, during ALL the lunch periods, the Kona Ice truck will be parked outside Entrance 18 (bus entrance by the cafeteria). Cups of shaved ice will be sold for $5. A variety of flavors will be offered.

Homecoming Dance Ticket Information
- Tickets will be on sale Mon, Sept 30th through Thurs, Oct 3rd during all lunch periods in the Student Activities Office (mezzanine). Tickets will NOT be sold on Friday, Oct 4th.
- You must have your Leyden plastic ID or Minga ID to purchase a ticket. You can NOT purchase tickets for other students (unless they are a non-Leyden guest...see info below).
- Tickets are $20/each. Cash or checks (made payable to Leyden High Schools) will be the ONLY forms of payment accepted.
- Students who wants to bring a non-Leyden guest must get a "Guest Form" from the Dean's office. Guest forms must be completed & approved in the Dean's Office by 3pm on Wednesday, October 2nd. You must bring the approved guest form with you to purchase your guest ticket.
