Hello West Ridge Families!!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR and snowy Tuesday!!!

We have school on Friday, because Monday was a holiday.

Triple Play:

Family night at Triple is January 25th, 6-9pm scroll down for more information.

Report Cards:

Report Cards will be sent home January 29th. It is the end of the semester.

Medications:

• If your child needs to take medication at school, the medicine has to be signed in at the office.
• Please DO NOT send medications in your child's backpack.
  

Weather Change:

• As the weather begins to get colder, please make sure your child(ren) are dressed for the temperatures outside.

Please call the office (208-773-7291) if...

• your child will not be at school
• for any end of day transportation changes (before 3:00)

Label your child's...

• lunchbox
• water bottles
• coats
• this helps us return lost items

Reminders:

• no hats in the building
• hats can be worn outside at recess
• please walk your bikes and scooters on school property

Office hours are 8:00-4:30 and PD&I Fridays are 8:00-3:30

School Messenger

The Post Falls School District has joined the School Messenger emergency notification system. The system allows the district to communicate via SMS text messages to parents regarding important matters such as a school lockdown, school closure (weather or otherwise) or other issues that affect their students.

To receive school notifications, you must opt in to School Messenger, and your student's school must have your current cell number entered in their system.

Please follow the steps below to opt in:
**Send a text message to 67587 with "Y" or "Yes” in the body of the text.
**You will receive a confirmation text reply that you are registered with School Messenger.

For 2023-2024, families must apply for free and reduced lunches. Your child may be eligible to receive free or reduced price meals. Families may qualify if the household’s annual gross income is within the limits identified by the Federal Income Eligibility Standards. Please review this chart for the gross annual income qualifications.

The online application can be found on the PFSD website, and paper copies are available upon request at the school office. Only one application needs to be filled out per household.

It is Family Night for West Ridge Elementary at Triple Play!!!!

Join your West Ridge Family & Invite Others for a Night of Fun!

$20 per person allows access to all open attractions, including the Raptor Reef water park, bowling (even the shoes are included in this price!), rock wall, miniature golf, laser tag, ropes course, the 4D dark ride and many more! All outside features are included in the price…weather permitting.

Our school receives a portion of the ticket proceeds. If we have over 150 people attending, then we receive 50% of the ticket sales!

Students must be accompanied by an adult!

*Tickets can be purchased in advance and is encouraged. Please return this form to school with cash payment. (Checks are no longer accepted) All credit/debit card transactions will be completed at Triple Play.
