Thank you for being part of what makes MUKWONAGO’S COMMUNITY an extraordinary place.

MHS students who elect to take our ACT Prep Course either in lieu of a study hall or after school have historically scored 2-3 points higher on the ACT. Last year, we had a record number of students taking the course and it resulted in record cumulative growth as a building. Although all students receive ACT instruction and resources through their everyday classes, this option gives them extended practice with a trained professional.

Juniors who would like to register for our ACT prep class that can be taken instead of a 3rd quarter study hall can contact their guidance counselor as soon as possible to have their schedule adjusted. The class will begin at the start of the second semester and will end on March 11th with the conclusion of the statewide test. Students electing the class will then return to study hall for the remainder of the semester.

We will also offer an prep class on Wednesdays or Saturdays in January and February. Please see the graphic below to register for one of these classes.

Your feedback is important to us. Please take a few minutes to take this brief survey about your experiences with the Mukwonago Area School District. Your responses are completely anonymous. Our administrative team will use this feedback to determine areas of strength and improvement as we look to enhance the educational experience for our families and students. The last day to complete the survey is today (November 22) at the end of the day.

We had the first parent advisory committee meeting at MHS this Monday. We had 14 parents who attended the meeting. Administrators presented our two school goals for this year and collected feedback from parents about each of them. For the December 16 meeting, we will discuss the scheduling process and will plan for Teacher Appreciation Week in May. Please email Stephanie Blue at bluest@masd.k12.wi.us if you couldn't attend the November meeting and are interested in coming to the December meeting.

November 7 was the half-way mark of the semester at MHS. You can check Infinite Campus to see a snapshot of your child's grade for the 1st quarter. Grades do not start over after quarter 1 but will continue to build throughout the semester. Please reach out to your child's teacher if you have any questions.
