Good Afternoon RPI Families,

What a wonderful weather weekend for us in this great county. Many people in our county don't realize how good we have it north of the river. A lot of my former colleagues used to be shocked when they found out my family and I live "all the way up here." But I would say, this is the best part of Muskegon county to live in. I was reminded of that this week at Rocket Family Night at the Winter Sports Complex. There were so many kids and families outside enjoying a beautiful night and supporting our school community. So, as we begin to transition from the final weeks of winter into spring, I encourage you to get outside. Our state park is a gem for all of us to enjoy. While you are doing it, take a chance to unplug. Don't take a single picture. Just be with your kids and family. You'll be amazed at what you "see" that you wouldn't have otherwise!

This week our kids will be talking about "humility" in their P2 time. Humility is introduced this week along with modesty...a term we might more easily identify with. In thinking about "The Rocket Way" and specifically integrity. Here is one of the video's our 5th graders will get to watch this week. Powerful!
