Parking Lot Drop-Off and Pick-Up Lane
Just a reminder, the drop-off/pick-up lane is not to be used for parking your car or getting out of your vehicle. This lane is designed for pick-up and drop-off at the curb, and for you to continue on. Please be respectful of the intention of this lane, and do not get out of your vehicle if in this lane.
If you do intend to leave your vehicle please find a parking spot, cross at a crosswalk, and pick up your student at their student doors. The crosswalks, parking lot, and pick-up/drop-off lane are specifically designed to create a safe environment for our entire community. By using the lot as it is intended we prevent accidents and injuries from occurring.
MS and High School Student Reminder
Middle and High School students are NOT allowed on school property until 3:35 PM on full days and 11:45 AM on half days. Any students on school property prior to this designated time will be considering trespassing and will be asked to leave until the allotted time.
If any parent pickup adults have concerns about MS and HS siblings causing disruptions during pickup times please let the front office know immediately.

Student Placement Form, 2024-2025 School Year
As the weather changes and the month of June is on the horizon, it is time for us to begin thinking about next year. In an effort to partner with our families, we have created a form to give you an opportunity to share additional information regarding your child.
Our goal at Ojibwa is to provide students with the educational environment that will best suit their learning styles and enhance their likelihood for success. There are a number of factors taken into account when placing students for the following school year. These factors include academic capabilities, learning styles, work/study habits, social needs, gender ratios, and diverse grouping. Our staff will utilize the data gathered from these factors to place students in equitable classrooms for the next school year.
In following district practice, Ojibwa will not accept specific teacher requests. If there are individual educational needs that must be considered for the next school year, please complete the following form explaining these educational needs. We will give your input serious consideration during the placement process. However, due to staff/building assignments and the important factors listed above, the final student placement decision rests with the building team of teachers and administrator.
The process of creating classroom assignments is a challenging and thoughtful task. Our staff works diligently to create well-balanced classes based on multiple aspects, including each child’s academic and social/emotional needs. As a partner in this process, we offer you the opportunity to provide input on your child and his/her unique learning style, strengths and challenges. The intent of this form is to help ensure the best possible learning environment for all children. However, this is NOT an opportunity to request a specific teacher.
If you would like to provide information on your child to aid in the placement process, this form must be submitted by a parent or guardian by Friday, May 24th.
Sincerely,
Leo Kondziolka
