- Today is the last day for Seniors, who have committed to playing a college sport, to sign up for Bella Vista’s Letter of Intent Signing Day ceremony on November 7th. Stop by the Library or sign up online at http://tinyurl.com/bvathlete.
- Club Picture Days is Tuesday, Nov. 05 and Wednesday, Nov. 06: Check the BV yearbook Instagram or see the signs around school to see when your clubs are being photographed. Club presidents will be required to check in their club members. Presidents should arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled time with a members list to check your club in to be photographed.
- The next College Application Workshop is TOMORROW during 5th/6th period. Students who have a 5th/6th period please see Mrs. Sloan in the Library for a pass to attend.
- Be part of Bella Vista's NO VAPE NOVEMBER: Challenge a friend or yourself not to vape the entire month of November! Look for hall posters and scan the QR codes to get helpful resources to Quit.

Athletic Events

- Many Winter Sports practices and tryouts begin TODAY:
- Girls Basketball Tryouts run from 3:30pm - 6:30pm after school large gym.
- Boys & Girls Soccer Tryouts start at 3:45pm in the Stadium.
- Boys Basketball Tryouts: Varsity meet 3:45pm (Small gym), JV meet 6:30pm (Large gym), Frosh meet 6pm (Small gym)
- Mandatory Wrestling Practice begins at 3:45pm in the Atrium
- Comp Cheer Tryouts: TODAY and Wednesday, Nov. 6 from 6-8pm in j-wing Atrium. Students must attend both tryout days to learn tryout routines.
- REMINDER: All students wanting to play winter sports must be registered and cleared through Sports Net. Physical Forms instructions are available in the front office.
Athletic Highlights
- Cross Country - Competed in the CVC League Finals on Thursday, October 31st. It was awesome to be out there and support the athletes. The teams move on to Sub-Sections next week at FrogTown in Calaveras.
- Varsity Boys finished 3rd in League with Calvin Fear finishing 10th and making the All League First Team; the following runners were 2nd Team All League Lincoln Manweller (13th), Everett Rohm (17th), Roanan Emanavin (19th), Griffin Keel (20th).
- Varsity Girls WON the CVC League Title with Zoe Corder (3rd), Sophia Pham (7th), and Haley Mazzei (10th) making the All League First Team; the following runners were 2nd Team All League Avery Berlier (12th), Julia Thomas (13th).
- F/S Boys WON the CVC League Title. Runners finishing in the Top 15: Connor Hooper (2nd), Braden Nevin (3rd), Kai Patrick (7th), Owen Suzuki (11th), Brody Colquhoun (12th).
- F/S Girls finished 3rd in League. The following runners finished in the Top 15: Ruby Rogers (3rd), Marshall Toyias (5th).
- Field Hockey - Lost to close games this week vs Pleasant Valley and Davis. They competed in their end of season tournament on Saturday and finished in 3rd place beating Lassen 4-0; Lost to Davis 0-2; Beat Pleasant Valley 1-0.
- Flag Football has completed their season.
- Football celebrated their Senior Night playing Vista del Lago. I’m glad that the rain held off until after the celebration, but the boys got to play their final game in the rain.
- Varsity lost 0-35 Record 0-10
- JV lost 28-36; Record 4-5-1
- Freshmen did not play this week. Record 0-8-1
- Girls Golf has completed their season. Annie Hong is moving on to Masters on Monday, November 4th.
- Girls Tennis competed in the league tournament. We had two singles players go to the quarter finals: Kimia Ahmadi and Casey Moshier losing to the top seeds.
- Girls Volleyball has completed their season.
- Water Polo received great news this week and both Boys and Girls have made playoffs. Both teams are playing Del Oro and we are still working on the date and time for the games.
