Friendly Friday Update
The weekly newsletter for the FHMS Community - 10/16/24
Mr. Hiti's Message
Now is a great time to sit with your child and go over grades to make sure everything is turned in and accounted for. The last day of the quarter is November 1, and that is rapidly approaching. We continue to remind students of the importance of having assignments turned in and, in turn, that results in good grades. If you help us by checking in and making sure assignments get completed, our students get credit for their work.
I hope you are able to enjoy the break with your children. Thank you for continuing to support our school and our teachers!

Middle School Girls' Basketball Info
Hi families! We are less than 3 weeks away from our Girls' Basketball season beginning. We do still have about 10 openings if you'd like to join us this season. Here are a few things to know before we begin in November.
Our practices and home games will be taking place at Friendly Hills Middle School. Practices will run after school from roughly 3:40 p.m. to 5:10 p.m. Games will begin at 4:00 p.m. unless noted otherwise. Our season will go from early November to December 17th.
We have two great coaches who also coached last year, Charlie Hiti and David Gilray. For practices, we ask that you please dress appropriately with athletic clothing and basketball/tennis shoes. Please also bring your own water bottle to fill up as we cannot use a community cooler.
A Message from our Family Support Worker
Winter will be here before you know it! If your child is in need of a winter coat please reach out to Steph Hogan, family support worker.
¡El invierno llegará antes de que te des cuenta! Si su hijo necesita un abrigo de invierno, comuníquese con Steph Hogan, trabajadora de apoyo familiar.
