November Edition
A message from your proud Superintendent Dr. Winborne!
Greetings GCPS families! Fall is here, with more than 1/4 of the school year completed! I'd like to take this opportunity to thank our students, families and staff for their hard work and focus on safety and student achievement. While we had some issues recently with threats against our schools, the message seems to have gotten through that we will not tolerate this type of behavior. Our students really stepped up and held each other accountable. Our "See Something, Say Something" system worked very well, and as a result, every single individual who made recent threats against our schools was identified and held accountable. Our partners in law enforcement have been so incredibly supportive and professional in their work as well, and I am grateful to them all.
I hope that everyone will continue to keep up the positive momentum and focus on doing their very best as we approach the holiday season. The midpoint of the school year will be here before we know it! Stay strong, work hard and be kind to one another!
Esse quam videri!

Here Comes The Bus uses global positioning system (GPS) technology to locate and track your child's school bus. It is powered by software from Synovia Solutions and uses data uploaded every evening from our TIMS Department. If your student has been assigned to the bus, you can download the free app to your phone and get notifications when the bus is near to your residence or to the school your student attends. You will need your student's ID number and the school code 82346. You can get started by clicking on the following link:
