Spring is HERE!

As the days grow longer and the flowers begin to bloom, we are excited to embrace the new season and all the wonderful opportunities it brings for our scholars. Spring is a time of renewal and growth, and we are committed to fostering an environment where every child can thrive. Thank you for your continued support. We ask that you continue to Watch Us GROW!

What's Happening at EJ?

Spring Pictures

Students will take individual Spring Pictures and Class Pictures on Tuesday, 3/25. Be sure to complete and return picture forms so that your scholar does not miss out.

Title I Parent Input Meeting

Thank you to those parents who were able to attend our recent Title I Parent Input Meeting and providing feedback. If you were unable to attend, we will host a virtual meeting on Tuesday, March 25th at 8:00 a.m. School goals and initiatives will be shared, and parents will have the opportunity to provide input into how the school engages families and uses funds to support our students and school community.

STEM Week

We are celebrating STEM next week by hosting a schoolwide assembly and having classes participate in a day long STEM challenge.

Michael Green is kicking off STEM Week with Science for Everyone | Where science meets fun!

Each grade level has also been provided a lesson plan for their STEM challenge.

First - The Ultimate Plant Model Challenge
Third - Fossil Excavation
Fourth - Arcade Fun
Fifth - Egg Drop

Be sure to ask your scholars all about it!

PreK Lottery

Esther Jackson will host our lottery on Monday, March 24th at 9:00 a.m. The event will be recorded.

Georgia Climate Survey

Thank you to every parent who completed the Georgia Climate Survey for Esther Jackson. In past years, we have had less than 20 people participate. I am so happy to announce that over 260 parents completed the survey for EJ!

Motivating our scholars seems to have done the trick. The BLUE HOUSE was the winning house color. All students who are blue house will participate in an ice-cream party on Wednesday afternoon.

EJ Musical

Mr. Ladouceur and some of our EJ scholars are presenting Winnie the Pooh Kids for our Spring Musical. We hope that you will join us on Thursday, April 3rd at 6:00 p.m.

Paraprofessional Appreciation Day

We have the absolute BEST instructional paraprofessionals around! Please join me in celebrating them on April 2nd for Paraprofessional Appreciation Day. We would love if you encouraged students to make cards for our paraprofessionals and/or let them know they are appreciated.

Kindergarten Round-Up

Please help us spread the word that our Kindergarten Round Up will take place at Esther Jackson on May 1, 3:30-4:30 p.m. We invite all rising Kindergarten scholars and parents to come learn all about what Kindergarten life will be like next year!

K – 5 Registration

If you or someone you know need to register a student at EJ for the 25-26 school year, we recommend that you do so as soon as possible so that our enrollment numbers are accurate for staffing purposes.

2. Email your application number to paz@fultonschools.org
3. If you do not have access to online registration, contact Ms. Paz at paz@fultonschools.org to make an appointment for registration.

All documents will be reviewed and verified before completing the registration process.
