Superintendent's Message
Loveland Tiger Families,
It looks like we’re in for a little bit warmer weather this week, which will be a relief! Thank you for your patience and understanding during the cold snap last week. A few people asked about canceling or delaying school on the really cold days, and it’s something we considered. The safety of our students is always the top priority, but I also have to weigh that against the disruption snow days cause for families. Hopefully, we’re done with the snow and extreme cold for a while!
We launched our #beLOVEland Strategic Vision a few years ago, and it has helped shape the decisions we make for our district. Our community told us that they want us to focus on four goals: Student Success, Collaborative Culture, Community Engagement, and Fiscal Responsibility. We’ve worked to reach those goals, and have had some amazing results. We’re also holding ourselves accountable to those goals, by regularly reporting on our Strategic Vision progress. Last week, we launched a new dashboard on our website, that allows everyone to track key data related to our #beLOVEland Strategic Vision. There is information about test scores, student mental health initiatives, safety, and more. I hope you visit lovelandschools.org/vision, and check-out this interactive tool.
If you have questions, you can always reach me at mikebroadwater@lovelandschools.org.
Go Tigers!

Get Transportation Updates on Your Smartphone
You can get information about bus routes and bus delays on-line, or on your smartphone. Follow this link to our Transportation page, or download the “My Ride K-12” app from your phone’s app store. Once you’ve registered and logged in, you can connect with your student’s information with their 5-digit student ID and last name.
The app now allows real-time tracking of your student’s bus. If you activate push notifications, our transportation team can send you notifications about transportation delays.
