Announcements & Updates
- A reminder to parents that marking period 1 report cards were released to the Parent Portal on Monday, November 11.
- 8th grade parents: If your child is attending the 8th grade trip to Gettysburg/Hershey and you have yet to review the communication from Mrs. Toth emailed November 4, please do so as it contains a payment schedule and instructions for purchasing trip insurance.
- With winter athletics starting November 20, please be reminded that all sporting events, cancellations, etc... are posted to the Mountain View website calendar and Daily Bulletin. The calendar is available on both the website and the app, while the bulletin can only be viewed on the mobile app.
- Students in all grade levels are welcome to attend Mountain View's home Basketball games, which begin at approximately 4:00 p.m. and end at approximately 5:30 p.m. Please be reminded that the student Code of Conduct is in effect at all school activities, including athletic events. Students whose conduct is disruptive to players, coaches, and/or officials, or does not demonstrate good sportsmanship will lose the privilege of attending. As the Main office closes at 4:00 p.m., please be sure to make arrangements with your child for transportation home. All students will be dismissed from the side gym door; student spectators will not be able to access the rest of the building after 3:30 p.m.
Student Council's Thanksgiving Food Drive
The Student Council is organizing a food collection to support the Interfaith Food Pantry, assisting families in Morris County during the Thanksgiving season. Kindly check your child's home base listed below for specific items to donate. Donations will be accepted from November 18 to November 22, with the food being delivered the following week.
Alonso, Gryffindor, Clark, Beach
- boxes of white or brown rice, canned yams, 100% fruit juice (apple, grape, cranberry)
Murad, Hufflepuff, Dunphy, Byers
- cranberry sauce, gravy (not in glass jars), brownie or cake mix
Saillant, Ravenclaw, Leber, Magrini
- bag of dried beans, coffee, tea, or hot cocoa mix, hearty soups
Tucker, Slytherin, Vnenchak, Nugent
- canned vegetables, muffin or bread mix, instant mashed potatoes
