Weeden's Weekly Update
November 18 - November 22
I am writing to express my deepest gratitude for the incredible spirit of cooperation and support that defines our school and community. It is truly inspiring to witness how we come together to help one another, creating an environment where everyone feels valued and supported.
Our school is more than just a place of learning; it is a sanctuary where students, teachers, and families unite to foster growth, understanding, and compassion. The dedication of our educators, the enthusiasm of our students, and the unwavering support of our families and community members make this a remarkable place to be.
Thank you to our teachers, who go above and beyond to ensure that every student has the opportunity to succeed. Thank you to our students, who bring energy, curiosity, and kindness to our school every day. Thank you to our families and community members, whose involvement and encouragement are vital to our collective success.

What is School Choice?
School Choice is the practice of allowing all families to make meaningful decisions about how and where their children will receive a primary and secondary education from a variety of public schools and programs. In Florida, School Choice options may include, but are not limited to, controlled open enrollment, charter schools, alternative schools, special programs, advanced placement, dual enrollment, International Baccalaureate, virtual school, home school and CTE academies. School Choice options are also encompassed in the Opportunity Scholarship Program and the Family Empowerment Scholarship. School Choice allows you to pick from a number of Awe-sceola District Schools.
This is particularly important for 8th grade students interested in applying to IB, Neo City or PATHS. You must complete a school choice application before the deadline.
