Superintendent's Update | August 27, 2021 | #1
Upcoming Dates
August 30: First Day of 2021-22 School Year!
September 6: Labor Day Schools Closed
September 15: Board of Education Meeting
Our TCPS Team has been hard at work getting classrooms ready to welcome our students back for full in-person learning on Monday, August 30th!
Our number one priority is to keep our students safe and healthy and in our classrooms learning five days a week! Please remember that masks are required for all students and on all of our buses and in all of our buildings at this time. Masks are not required during recess or while students are eating lunch.
We will continue to maintain a social distance of three feet when possible, we will encourage frequent handwashing, and we will continue with enhanced cleaning practices.
We ask that families monitor themselves and their children for symptoms, and stay home if not feeling well, and we encourage everyone who is eligible to get vaccinated for COVID-19. We will also have testing available at all of our schools.
Feel free to review our Return to School plan, which is posted on our website, and the Talbot County Health Department's Quarantine Policy linked below. Please contact your school if you have any questions.
