Winter Wonderland 2025
Winter Wonderland
February 1st
Time: 7:00-10:00 pm
Location: Avon High School
It's back! Student Council 24-25 is proud to present a winter dance!
Through surveying the student body, it is clear the Eagles want another opportunity to dress up, have fun, get a new DJ, and dance! Don't worry, there won't be Swedish Fish!
The survey also indicated this dance should be less hype than HOCO, be a little more casual:
borrow/recycle dresses, no ties, just button down shirts, do-your-own hair, ditch the flowers, and simply be a reason to dress up and dance. Eagles, don't over do this!
Tickets:
Follow the link to the online ticket portal. The cost of a ticket is $15.00. A portion of the proceeds will go to each participant's graduation class.
Tickets will not go on sale until January 6, 2025.

Important Information Regarding Ticket Purchases:
Only one ticket may be purchased per student ID number or guest access code.
Visiting Guest/Date Forms may be picked up from the AHS Main Office (or printed from the file below). After a visiting guest/date has completed their portion of the form, turn the forms into the Main Office for administrative approval. Once the student's corresponding administrator approves the guest document, an email with your guest access code will be sent to your @avoneagles account.
Online JVS ticket purchases require the AHS student ID number.
Tickets are non-refundable.
Tickets are non-transferable.
Important Dance Information:
Freshman - Junior students must enter AHS through PAC entrance.
Seniors will also enter through the PAC doors but have an Express Lane.
All non- AHS guests must have a valid ID, a school ID is sufficient, though.
Proper attire is required. (Semi formal attire is requested: no shorts, dressy jeans are acceptable, dress pants, party dresses, and dressy shirts.)
Do not bring bags into school. (Students who carry registered medications may store their bags with the principal during the dance for safe and secure access.)
All jackets, purses, and pockets are subject to search.
Cars may be subject to search on AHS property based on “reasonable suspicion.” Make sure cars do not contain drugs, alcohol, tobacco, vaping products, or weapons, as these are all suspension worthy offenses.
18 year old guests may not carry tobacco products, even if of legal age.
All attendees will be breathalyzed.
Water and snacks are provided until they run out. We recommend eating beforehand.
If you must store a purse while dancing, you will have to do so by leaving your belongings in the bleachers. Lockers are not accessible.
The Hunter’s Trail access gate will not be open at any time. Arrive and leave via Detroit Rd.
Parents are not permitted into the dance. If you need your student, you may come to the check-in desk for assistance. It will take us a while to find your student as we have over 1,000+ in attendance.
