Muskego Lakes Family Newsletter
March 7th, 2025
Dear Muskego Lakes Families,
Every year, we ask our students at Muskego Lakes to take a survey about their experiences here at school. The purpose of the survey is to make sure we understand what’s going well as well as opportunities for improvement from the perspective of our students.
We love that the student survey gives them an opportunity to have a voice and share their feedback here at school. Their insight matters to us. And we work really hard to make changes as a result of what we learn from them.
We recently received the results of this year’s 24-25 Student Experience Survey, and we wanted to be transparent with you with the results.
Some strengths of our school community that emerged within the survey this year are (survey items are rated on a five point scale):
“I have at least one friend at this school.” (4.78)
“Learning is important at my school.” (4.46)
“ My teachers challenge me to think.” (4.38)
“My teachers care about me.” (4.36)
“ My principal is a good leader.” (4.28)
That being said, a few survey items that were lower than we expected were:
“I am provided some options for what I learn, how I learn, and what evidence I use to demonstrate my learning.” (3.89)
“I feel like the learning I am doing is meaningful and relevant.” (3.88)
Every year, we are grateful that our students let us know about their experiences here at school. Going forward, we will reflect on these results as a staff, learn even more from our students when it comes to our growth opportunities, and engage in continuous improvement efforts in order to do even better for our students.
If you have any questions about our Student Experience Survey or if you have any feedback for how we can continue to improve the student experience here at school, please reach out. We are so very grateful for the partnership we have with you all, and we recognize that it takes a village to rally around the students we serve.
In partnership,
Rachel Rydzewski and Nancy Pasch

It's crucial for the safety and well-being of all students that good behavior is maintained on the bus. We kindly request your support in reinforcing this message with your child, emphasizing the importance of respectful conduct during their bus rides. Together, we can ensure a positive and safe environment for all students. Thank you for your cooperation.
