Winter Testing

Currently, we are FAST (Formative Assessment System for Teachers) testing. FAST is an assessment system used in most school districts across the state, as required by Iowa’s Early Literacy Legislation. We are working hard to make sure classroom instruction meets the needs of all students. Additional data will be utilized to determine the specific needs of each student and targeted instruction will be designed as needed.

Attendance

Every Day Matters at Des Moines Public Schools in part because regular attendance means students can keep up in class and not feel frustrated, have a stronger foundation of learning, and stay on track for graduation. Please make sure your child is at school by 7:40 am.

2. Donate $50 and your name/business name will be listed as a sponsor

3. Donate any amount anonymously
