WCCC Shines on State Report Card
Career Center Earns Five Stars Again
Earlier this month, the Ohio Department of Education & Workforce Development released the latest School Report Cards. The Warren County Career Center earned a five star rating, significantly exceeding state standards, while meeting 90% of federal indicators. School report cards for career technical schools include specific marks for performance in four components. Schools’ grades are based on student achievement, graduation rate, career & post-secondary readiness, and post program outcomes.
“This report card is a testament to our staff and their commitment to our students,” said Joel King, Warren County Career Center Superintendent. “In education, we can see the moment students grasp new concepts and see the direct impact of our efforts, but seeing this impact quantified and rated at such a high level is something I’m truly proud of our staff for.”
