Avondale High School Curriculum Showcase - December 11, 2024 • All Families Invited!
The student-managed Bee Hive school store will be open, selling Avondale spirit wear, and Avondale Dining Services will be hosting food tastings in the cafeteria! All are welcome and we look forward to seeing everyone there!
Avondale Caring & Sharing Week: December 3-11, 2024
AHS Leadership students are partnering with Friends of Foster Kids to support almost 45 children, ranging from 4 months to 17 years of age! The wish list with essential products like clothing and hygiene products can be found here. If you are able, please consider purchasing an item off the list. All items will come directly to the high school.
If you would like to make a direct donation, funds can be sent with students to be collected 4th hour, dropped in the office, or reach out to Katie Osborn about digital methods. Thank you for your support!
Avondale Middle School Polar Bear Stroll • December 13, 2024
Avondale Middle School will host their 2nd Annual Polar Bear Stroll, supporting Avondale Gift of Giving next Friday, December 13!
Please consider helping AMS reach their goal of raising $7,000 to help support Avondale Families in need. Each student has a goal of raising $50. Families and community members can make a pledge through a student or purchase "shout outs" to be read as students walk. Make a donation of $1-$100+ to give a shout out during the stroll.

Accelerated Pathways Application Window Opens December 9, 2024
The Accelerated Pathways program supports high school students who seek academic acceleration by providing access to opportunities for early advancement in their learning. Students receive guidance from the Accelerated Pathway coordinator in course planning, facilitating both academic acceleration and postsecondary planning. Application is for incoming 9th graders, opening December 9th, 2024 for the 2025-2026 school year.
There are 4 parts to the Accelerated Pathways application process.

Interested in participating in robotics programs in 2025? This survey will inform decision making regarding the RJ program offerings for 2025 Winter, Spring, & Summer. Estimating interest and demand will help arrange program offerings that both serve the Avondale community and align to short term and long term RJ goals.
