STUDENT ARRIVAL
Our doors officially open to all students at 7:15am and our school day begins at 7:25am.
Please refer to the photo below for student drop off and follow the green arrows for the traffic pattern. We open the side doors from 7:00-7:15 then all students are invited to proceed to homeroom from 7:15-7:25. Once the 7:25 bell rings signaling the start of period 1, all student drop offs must be done at the front door.
STUDENT DISMISSAL
All parents/Guardians will enter the lot between Eisenhower and Catena. If your son/daughter is in 6th grade, you will follow the same traffic pattern as morning drop off, picking up your son/daughter along the 6th grade side of the building (Yellow Arrows). Once you have your son/daughter safely in the car, you will merge with the traffic following the access road behind the building.
If you are picking up a 7th or 8th grader, you will follow the green arrows through the center aisle of the parking lot to the access road behind the building and pick up your child on the cafeteria side of the building. (If you happen to be picking up students in 6th and 7th or 8th, please decide as a family where the driver will go and communicate this to your children.) Please see the dismissal map below and follow the arrows that correspond to your child's grade level (6th=Yellow; 7th & 8th=Green).
Staff will direct you when it is safe to exit the front parking lot.
ADVISORY
We are excited to continue our Advisory program at Eisenhower this year. For those who may be new to Eisenhower, Advisory provides the opportunity for students and staff to form connections in a safe and supportive small group environment. Those students who attended Eisenhower last year will continue with their same Advisory group and advisor, and those new to Eisenhower have been assigned to an Advisory group and a specific advisor. These groups will stay together with the same advisor for the duration of their time at Eisenhower. Advisory groups will meet weekly (every Wednesday) and will address a variety of topics from goal setting, team building, social emotional learning, and meaningful conversations. We are so excited for the opportunity this affords your General(s) to develop a meaningful connection to a caring Eisenhower staff member. You should be able to see the name of your child's advisory in Genesis.
