FIRST PFC MEETING: TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 10, 6:30 IN STAR COMMONS
PFC would like to welcome all of our OL Families to another amazing school year. PFC has a lot of events and ideas planned for this year!!! If you are interested in learning more about the upcoming school year, want to meet other members of our OL community, and want to get involved, please join us at our first meeting of the school year on Tuesday, September 10 at 6:30 p.m. in our Star Commons (OL Library). Everyone is invited!!! We hope to see you there!!!
CHALK THE WALK: MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 2, 9:00 - 5:00
Calling all Orchard Lane Families!!!! Let’s start the school year by filling our front entrance sidewalk with lots of encouraging, uplifting and welcoming messages for our students, teachers and staff!!! It’s Chalk the Walk!!!! PFC will have chalk available throughout the day. Please feel free to drop by and decorate or write a message!!!
FALL FUNDRAISER “SHINING STARS FUN RUN”

DID YOU KNOW?
The Parent Faculty Council (PFC) is a volunteer organization that supports Orchard Lane Elementary School's students and staff. The mission of the PFC is to bring together families and faculty to plan and organize fundraisers and events that provide educational, fun, supportive and memorable activities to every Orchard Lane student and staff member.
PFC plans, organizes and funds many of the events and activities that happen throughout the school year, all using volunteers and dollars received through our different fundraising efforts.
Some of the events that are organized by the PFC are: Trunk or Treat, Santa Visit, High Interest Day, Lock-In, Hot Dog Day and Journey into the Arts just to name a few.
PFC also provides classroom support that can include classroom expense reimbursement for staff, reading programs, playground supplies, financial help for field trips and snacks.
We also show staff how grateful we are for all of their hard work by providing staff lunches, cookies, coffee, bus driver appreciation gifts and Teacher Appreciation Week gifts and activities.
PFC needs all the help and support from our Orchard Lane families that we can get. Please consider getting involved!!!! We would love to make sure that PFC is able to continue to provide all of this to our Orchard Lane Community!!!!
