Message from Mrs. Tremps
Dear Brandywine Families,
Happy New Year! I hope this message finds you rested, recharged, and ready to embark on the second semester of learning and growth. I am so proud of everything our students, staff, and families accomplished during the first half of the school year.
Looking ahead, I am excited to share a Save the Date update for a special event—Heritage Night! This beloved event will take place on Thursday, January 23rd at 6pm. It is one of the most memorable and well-attended community events in Brandywine’s history. We look forward to recreating that magic this year by celebrating the rich diversity of our Brandywine families.
We encourage everyone to participate by hosting a table that shares your unique culture or heritage. Whether through food, artifacts, clothing, or traditions, your contributions will make this night truly special! Click here to sign up to host a table.
Additionally, we are excited to announce that the Dual Language Immersion (DLI) application will open on January 15th. This program is an incredible opportunity to develop bilingual, biliterate, and bicultural students in kindergarten through 5th grade at Brandywine. Aligned with the Forsyth County Schools Learner Profile, DLI fosters academic excellence and prepares students to thrive in a global society. If you’re interested in learning more about this transformative program for your child, click here.

From the PTO
Brandywine Elementary is hosting its 4th Annual Heritage Night on January 23 from 6-8pm. Heritage Night will celebrate the diversity of our school including where we are from, where we have lived and places we are interested in.
In order for us to acknowledge the many countries represented at Brandywine, we need your help! If any member of your family was born, has ancestral ties, or is passionate about a country other than the United States, we would love for you to host a table at International Night. We need families with a passion and a vast knowledge of a particular country to share their knowledge with the Brandywine community.

Para que podamos reconocer los muchos países representados en Brandywine, ¡necesitamos su ayuda!
