News from Dr. Pick - Together We Thrive
This week we are celebrating #LiteracyWeek at Buffett Middle and we are so excited to align our everyday fun with our school improvement plan. Our academic SIP goal is: For the 2024-2025 school year, Buffett Middle students will meet or exceed growth goals in MAP math and reading by 3% from Fall 2024 to Spring 2025.
One step you can do at home is to encourage your child(ren) to do some free reading! Graphic novels, chapter books, audio books, or comic books all count as reading. Don't have any books at home? No worries because September is #LibraryCardSignUpMonth and you can get all the goodies for free! Check out the link and get your library card today!
