Her coach, Will Love said, "Jordyn's a great representative of Sandpoint High School both as an athlete and a student. Her work ethic, leadership, and approach as teammate have helped Sandpoint Girls Basketball enjoy success on and off the court."
Art Students Garner State Honors
This year, our Pre-AP and AP Art classes participated in the Idaho Department of Education’s 2024 Holiday Card Contest, open to Idaho students from K-12. From across the state, two of our students, Izzy Davidson and Clara Campbell, were selected as winners—a remarkable achievement!
Izzy Davidson, a junior in our Pre-AP program, is the fourth Davidson to join our art program, following in the talented footsteps of her older sisters. Her artistic creativity is deeply inspired by her love for the outdoors, which includes mountain biking, backcountry skiing, rock climbing, and track. Izzy also serves as the president of the Climbing Club, further showcasing her leadership and passion for adventure.
Clara Campbell, a senior, is in her second year at SHS after transferring from the Vancouver School of Arts and Academics. Clara has been a tremendous addition to our program, bringing an extraordinary eye for design and illustration. Since moving to Sandpoint, she has shifted her focus from dance—her previous passion—to painting, where her talents have truly flourished. As a teaching assistant in the progrum, Clara has also taken the initiative to curate a small gallery featuring outstanding artwork from our Art Department, further enhancing our community’s appreciation of student artistry.
We are incredibly proud of Izzy and Clara for their dedication and achievements. Their success is a testament to the talent and hard work of our students.
