Prinicpal's Message
Dear La Paloma Families,
I hope you had a restful and gratitude-filled Fall Break with those important people in your life. The students have done a nice job getting back into the routine of school, and the teachers and staff have been great at supporting them in remembering our school expectations.
This week students in the following classes were recognized for their academic growth, from August to November, in Reading and Math based on the last Universal Screener test:
- Alex and King in Alcorn
- Martin and Aria in Brockson/Consalvi
- Aaliyah, Sophia M, and Sophia B in Coook
- Lucas and Lisa in Corduan
- Dulce and Andre in Cornforth
- Jax and Zoey in Cosby
- Rebekah and David in Herter
- Joseph and Brian in Knapp
- Jakob and Nathaniel in Leonard
- Jose, Camila, and Obed in Noval
- Alex R in Ostroske--> Alex showed the highest growth in Math/ELA for all LAP students
- Leyla and Charlotte in Stillman
- Antonio and Aiden in Willis
Additionally, Mr. Alcorn's class and Mrs. Willis's classes were recognized for the highest average overall growth in Math and Reading, respectively.
The LAP staff is encouraged and proud of the growth our Wolves continue to show as the year progresses.
All my best,
Aimee Plette
Principal
