RCE Comet Parent Update
February 2025 Edition
From Your Principal
It’s hard to believe how quickly this school year is flying by! Our students have been working hard, learning so much, and making incredible progress—but there’s still plenty of learning ahead. As we head into spring, we have lots of exciting events coming up, including field trips, a school dance, Discovery Science Nights, and, of course, important milestones like state testing. Plus, we still have two more well-deserved breaks on the horizon!
As we continue this journey together, we encourage you to keep reading with your child at home and practicing math facts whenever possible. Every little bit of extra support makes a difference!
Most importantly, we want to take a moment to say how proud we are of all our Crippen Astronauts. Their hard work, determination, and growth this year have been inspiring to see. Thank you for your continued support in making Crippen Elementary a great place to learn and grow!
With appreciation,
🚀 Ms. Brent & the Crippen Elementary Team🚀
NCISD Rodeo Art Competition
Please show some love for our very own NCISD Rodeo Art Best of Show winner, Elah! Out of approximately 8,000 NCISD Elementary students, Elah’s masterpiece wowed the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo judges the most! This is the 5th year in a row a Crippen Astronaut brings home the coveted Best of Show. We will share her fabulous art as soon as we know the final level of judging is complete.
