Thank you for a wonderful March! It is hard to believe we are already moving into April!
We kick April off with Spring Break! Students will be out of school March 29th - April 7th. They will return on Monday, April 8th.
3rd graders will be taking their NC Check In in Reading on April 9th and their NC Check In in Math on April 10th.
4th graders will be taking their NC Check In in Reading on April 16th and their NC Check in in Math on April 17th.
Progress Reports will be sent home on Thursday, 4/18.
Our Annual Title I Spring Fling will be on Friday, April 19th from 5:30 - 7:30. Please sign up here!
Relay for Life Spirit Week will be April 29th - May 3rd. Love's Fish Box Relay for Life Spirit Night will be on Tuesday, April 30th.
Our Spring Musical featuring our First and Second graders will be on Thursday, May 2nd at 6:00pm in the gym. More information will come home closer to the musical.
**Important End-of-Year Dates**
May 15 - Reading EOG (3rd and 4th)
May 16 - Math EOG (3rd and 4th)
May 20th - Field Day!
May 24th - End of Year Awards Day!
Parents, I would like to remind everyone that students should not be dropped off in our front parking lot or on Ramseur Street in front of the school. This is a huge safety concern. Please make sure they are dropped off in the back of the building in the car line. Our line moves quickly!
Lastly, parents, please make sure you have your ID with you if you're coming to school to eat lunch or check out your child. Our sign-in/out system requires a driver's license or ID to be scanned. We strive to keep our students safe. This is one additional step we can use to ensure the safety of everyone here at school. Please share this information with anyone who may come to school to eat lunch with your child. Please note that visitors are not allowed to go to classrooms after lunch. Please say your goodbyes in the cafeteria. Thank you for your cooperation with this.
