WHAT'S UP AT WMS?
8TH GRADE VISIT TO CAREER & TECHNICAL SPACES
With our shared leadership between the middle and high school, we continue to look for opportunities to help with student's transition from one school to the next. Over the past few weeks, 8th graders visited the high school's career & technical spaces. Students saw the variety of opportunities available at WHS including Medical Assisting, TV Production and Culinary Arts!
8th GRADE "LETTER TO YOURSELF"
As 8th graders, students write letters to themselves that they will receive when they graduate from high school. The letters will be addressed, sealed, and held onto until 2028. Mr. Skop and Ms. Conceison mailed these letters to the 2024 graduates this week. Now that’s what you call a historical document!
WRITING PORTFOLIOS
At the end of 8th grade, students have the chance to select their own work to include in a portfolio. Portfolios are bound together and sent off as a keepsake so students can see how they have grown as writers during their time at WMS!
