Message from the Principal, Dr. Sterling H. Seemans
Springer Families,
We are very excited for our up and coming Middle School Visitation Day, which will be taking place this Sunday, December 15 from 1pm-3pm. This event is not for current students, but is for current 5th graders in the Brandywine School District and students who may be attending other schools for middle school currently and are interested in attending Springer Middle School. The reason for our excitement is due to the pride we have in the comprehensive experience we are giving our students each and every day. Our students have access to rigorous academics, many opportunities to participate in extracurricular activities that help build their connection to school, the safe and secure environment they learn in, and the consistent recognition of the students who come in and do what they need each day. We are proud of the highly educated and veteran staff who are among the most dedicated individuals I have ever worked with. We are proud of the beautiful building and facilities that we have which aides in the learning environment at Springer. Most importantly, we are proud of the academic and social growth we have made over the past year and half. We feel that the culture of Springer is strong and only getting stronger.
What we could use help with is spreading the word about Springer! Being a member of this community as both a resident and public servant I am fully aware of the trust this community has with one another and with regards to our neighbors’ opinions. If you have neighbors, friends, or family members who are considering Springer, or any BSD middle school, please share your experience. Encourage them to come to our Middle School Visitation Day to learn more about what we have to offer. We will be offering giveaways, presentations from me, informative stations about various offerings at Springer, a parent/student experience panel discussion, and optional guided tours from Springer students! If you have any questions about Middle School Visitation Day, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me.
If you have any questions, concerns, or need additional information please do not hesitate to contact me or one of my administrators. We are eager to help.
All The Best,
Dr. Sterling H. Seemans
Principal

Chase Salvatore got the match off to a great start with a 15-4 major decision, and the rest of the lower classes continued their trend of building an early lead. PS was able to get the match back within reach, but Andrew Persing secured the win with a tough fought win at 145lbs.
