Reynolds' Report
Hello Roadrunner Families!
Summer break is quickly approaching leaving us with some important things to note before our June 6th dismissal day.
Remember to come look through our lost and found to gather any items your student has left behind in the warm weather. We have many sweatshirts, water bottles, and lunch boxes who would like to return home!
If your student takes medication at school, please remember to come by the office to pick up their medication before our office closes for the summer.
The last day for school offices to be open is Tuesday, June 11th. We will return to open offices on Tuesday, August 6th, 2024. The District Office will be open for summer hours from 10:00am-2:00pm starting on June 14th and will resume normal hours on Monday, August 5th, 2024. If you have questions over the summer, please do not hesitate to reach out to the district office at 916-635-6350.
Class lists for next year will be posted in August. We know our students are eager to know who their teacher will be for next year, but putting together lists is a detailed process, so we appreciate your patience!
In future newsletters, this information will be posted below in the Important Updates and Information section for easy access.
Have a lovely week, Roadrunners!

2024-2025 Enrollment is Open!
Registration for the 2024-2025 school year is now open! Please spread the word to anyone you know who has a new student, an incoming TK student, or an incoming Kinder student. They can find the link to register here: https://www.wpusd.org/in-our-schools/enrollment/new-student-registration/next-year-2024-2025
If your student currently attends First Street School on an intra-district transfer, you will need to request to have their intra-district transfer renewed each year. This process will open on January 19th. The link to submit your intra-district transfer can be found here: https://www.wpusd.org/in-our-schools/enrollment/transfers/intra-district-transfers
Students who currently attend First Street School and live in the First Street School boundaries do not need to do anything with registration. GATE students also do not need to submit an intra-district transfer as their enrollment rolls forward year over year at First Street School.

The one remaining requirement is that students who are ill must be fever-free for at least 24 hours without the aide of fever-reducing medications before they are able to return to school.
